Brian Stewart has been involved in auto racing since 1966 and since his first trip around the track at Harewood, he has been breaking records! As a driver, Brian won dozens of races, including the 1969 Canadian Formula Vee Championship and the 1972 Canadian Formula Ford Championship. Early in his career, his technical skills and expertise as a mechanic and driving coach resulted in other drivers asking for his help. He quickly fell into the role of coach and mentor and finally team owner - roles that he has continued to exercise for more than 40 years.
Brian has fielded countless champions in a multitude of racing series and contributed to the racing careers of dozens of young men and women. He has played an integral role in training and graduating drivers, mechanics, engineers, driving coaches and team managers to other levels in the auto racing world, including the Indy Racing League and Formula 1.
Brian Stewart takes pride in leading the most successful and long-standing Canadian auto racing team from the quiet rural hills of Sutton, Ontario on the southern shores of Lake Simcoe.
In 2004, Brian was inducted into the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame.

Bill Icely comes to BSR from Stock Car Racing where he spent many years as Crew Chief for his brother's racing efforts in Florida. With BSR, Bill has been a mechanic, spotter and a "Whatever Mo says to do!" man.
Bill's most vivid BSR memory was spotting for Wade Cunningham at Indy in 2008 and calling him "clear" in turn three, when Wade took the lead early in the Freedom 100. Wade later finished third in the race, but watching a BSR car take the lead at Indy will last a lifetime.
Professionally, Bill is a certified general contractor and real estate developer in Florida. He is the proud father of three young children.
Sean has been with BSR since the 2003 season, after a chance meeting with team-owner Brian Stewart at the Milwaukee Mile. Sean's strengths are related to his enthusiasm, eye for detail, tireless work ethic and team first, can-do attitude.
Aside from his 'official duties' with BSR, Sean can often be seen visiting with fans, answering questions and assisting younger fans in/out of the BSR cars for photos.
Away from the track, Sean is employed as a Senior Police Officer for the City of Des Moines, IA. Sean is a happily married, father of 2 daughters who love their time at the track with Dad and the BSR team.
Jason has spent the past 20+ years racing everything from drag-cars, race boats, shifter carts, circle track and sports cars – he just loves racing! Though he’s had success driving his own race cars, as of late, he’s taken a more vested interest in the behind the scenes work that goes into fielding a team like BSR. Jason uses his experience as a driver and familiarity with the tracks to assist the team as a spotter and driver coach and also takes on mechanic and engineering support roles.
Away from the track, Jason is the Technical Advisor and Systems Manager for R and D Enterprises in New Orleans.
