Brian Stewart Racing Golf Tournament at the Briars - July 14, 2010
The BSR Golf Tournament will be held at the exclusive private Briars Golf Club in Jackson's Point on the southern shores of Lake Simcoe in Ontario. Many prizes have already been donated, including TWO chances to win the opportunity to drive a Champ Light racing car for a day! Check out our prize page.
Golfers and racers of multiple eras will gather to try to out-drive each other (in this case on the pristine and narrow fairways of the Briars), enjoy a meal together at the Lake Simcoe Arms and raise money for the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship.
This once-a-year event begins at 1:00 PM with a shotgun start at the Briars Golf Club (127 Hedge Road, Sutton West, Ontario). There will be fabulous prizes for winners of the tournament and special skill events such as "longest drive" and "closest to the pin". Register your group or on your own and we'll partner you up with other players - order your ticket today so that you are not left out!
A chicken and rib dinner with a cash bar and awards banquet as well as a silent auction will follow beginning at 7:30 PM at the Lake Simcoe Arms just down the road. All of the proceeds raised during the event will be donated to the not-for-profit BSRKC in order to invest in the drivers of tomorrow and the next generation of great champions.

Please take note of the dress code for the Briars Golf Club
Proper Golf Attire is required at all times on the course, the putting green and the practice area.
Members and guests will be attired in clothing that is appropriate for golf and which is acceptable to the golf clothing industry
Appropriate dress:
Socks will be worn at all times.
Shorts must be not shorter than half way on the thigh.
Shirts and blouses will be tucked in at all times, except those designed to be worn outside of the lower garment, and which sits on the belt line
Inappropriate dress:
Jeans or denim, tennis or beach wear,
T-Shirts, halter or tank tops, cut-offs.
