Join the BSR Star Mazda Team - part of a comprehensive Driver Development Program that will provide you with an open-wheel stepping stone between karting and Indy Lights. You will have a team of people to support you that includes highly skilled mechanics and engineers. Tommy Byrne, one of the most skillful drivers to ever have participated on the BSR team and one of today's best driver coaches will provide you with personal coaching at all of your races as well as at your pre- and in-season test days. In addition to that, Jim Leo of Pit Fit will provide you with an individualized coaching plan and on-going support. You will have every possible advantage to help you to excel.

In its 45-year history of auto-racing, BSR has had an outstanding record of winning at all levels of open-wheel auto racing in North America in which we have participated and has put a Driver Development Program in place that will create a pool of talent to graduate to the Indy Lights level. Past drivers include well-known names such as Paul Tracy, Brian Herta, Eric Bachelart, Christiano Da Matta, Scott Maxwell and Wade Cunningham.

You will also be coached on important off-track skills such as media relations and sponsor engagement and will be able to participate in the team’s track-side Indy Lights Team activities.
